Hexcel Corporation in Casa Grande, AZ is hiring an Acousti-Cap Fabricator for the grave shift (11:00PM–7:00AM, Mon–Fri). Starting rate is $25.75 per hour during new hire orientation (90 days), increasing to $28.13 per hour thereafter, plus a $1.75 shift premium.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Minimum of one year experience in manufacturing; 6 months at Hexcel Casa Grande may substitute for one year.
• Must be proficient in use of tape measure and ruler.
• Basic working knowledge of computer data entry.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment for core blanks and acoustical panels.
• Perform fabrication of acoustical panels and aircraft engine blankets.
• Set up and adjust machines for depth, insertion, and drainage.
• Measure airflow impedance and quality of inserts.
• Move between production steps and monitor process per specifications.
• Visually inspect final products for quality and defects.
• Utilize SPC data as required.
