The position requires a high school diploma or GED, plus manufacturing experience. Candidates should be able to perform basic data entry, read technical documents, and execute precise measurements.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Minimum of one year experience in manufacturing; six months at Hexcel Casa Grande may substitute for one year.
• Must be proficient in use of a tape measure and ruler.
• Basic working knowledge of computer data entry.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate equipment for preparation of core blanks and acoustical panels.
• Perform tasks related to acoustical panel and aircraft engine blanket fabrication.
• Set up/core edge prep and slotting machines; adjust dipping process for adhesive depth and insertion quality.
• Measure air flow impedance and verify materials against specifications.
• Inspect final products for quality and present to internal customers.
