Job summary

Tekni - Van Wert Fiber seeks a Night Shift Quality Control Technician to perform quality checks on fiber egg cartons in a newly built plant in Van Wert, Ohio. The role includes auditing processes, data entry, and training operators in quality standards.

You will work a 2-2-3 night schedule (4:45 PM–5:00 AM) with a base rate of $19/hour plus a $1/hour shift premium. Prior QC experience and knowledge of GMP/HACCP are valued as a plus.

Qualifications

• At least one year of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Experience training others and entering data into a database strongly preferred.
• Experience with GMPs and/or HACCP will be a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Quality Technicians will safely and efficiently conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process of our Fiber Egg Cartons.
• Techs perform audits and enter data into our quality database.
• Train production equipment operators to recognize high quality products vs defects.

SUMMARY

Quality Technicians will be responsible for safely/efficiently conducting quality checks throughout the manufacturing process of our Fiber Egg Cartons. Techs conduct audits and perform data entry of quality checks into our database, train production equipment operators on how to recognize high quality product vs. product/printing defects. Quality Techs help to ensure we are compliant with Food Safety requirements.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

At least one year of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable. Experience training others & entering data into database strongly preferred. Experience with GMPs and/or HACCP will be a HUGE plus!
