Job summary

Tekni - Van Wert Fiber in Van Wert, OH is seeking a Quality Control Technician for the day shift. You will perform quality checks throughout the manufacturing process of molded pulp egg carton products, log results into the database, and help train production operators on quality standards.

Ideal candidates have at least one year of QC experience in manufacturing, familiarity with GMPs/HACCP, and a data-entry mindset.

Qualifications

• At least one year of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Experience training others & entering data into database strongly preferred.
• Experience with GMPs and/or HACCP will be a HUGE plus!

Responsibilities

• Quality Technicians will conduct quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.

Entry - $19/hour + $1/hour Shift Premium

Summary

Quality Technicians will be responsible for safely/efficiently conducting quality checks throughout the manufacturing process of our Fiber Egg Cartons. Techs conduct audits and perform data entry of quality checks into our database, train production equipment operators on how to recognize high quality product vs. product/printing defects. Quality Techs help to ensure we are compliant with Food Safety requirements.

Education and/or Experience

At least one year of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable. Experience training others & entering data into database strongly preferred. Experience with GMPs and/or HACCP will be a HUGE plus!
