Job summary

Tekni-Plex Consumer Products Division – Van Wert, OH is hiring Quality Control Technicians for the new manufacturing plant. The role involves performing quality checks, audits, data entry into our database, and training operators to recognize high-quality output and defects.

You will help ensure compliance with Food Safety requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• At least one year of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable.
• Experience training others and entering data into a database is strongly preferred.
• Experience with GMPs and HACCP is a huge plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
• Audit processes and enter quality data into the database.
• Train production equipment operators to recognize quality product and defects; ensure food safety compliance.

Summary

Quality Technicians will be responsible for safely/efficiently conducting quality checks throughout the manufacturing process of our Fiber Egg Cartons. Techs conduct audits and perform data entry of quality checks into our database, train production equipment operators on how to recognize high quality product vs. product/printing defects. Quality Techs help to ensure we are compliant with Food Safety requirements.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

At least one year of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable. Experience training others & entering data into database strongly preferred. Experience with GMPs and/or HACCP will be a HUGE plus!
