Job summary

Tekni-Plex is seeking Quality Control Technicians for our new manufacturing plant in Van Wert, OH. Night shift 4:45 PM to 5:00 AM with a base entry rate of $19/hour plus a $1/hour shift premium. Training is Monday through Friday with a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.

You will perform quality checks, audit processes, and enter data to ensure compliance with food safety standards. At least 1 year of QC experience in manufacturing is desirable; GMPs/HACCP experience is a huge plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of quality control experience in manufacturing.
• Experience training others and entering data into a system preferred.
• Familiarity with GMPs and HACCP is a big plus.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently perform quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
• Conduct audits and record quality data in the database.
• Train production operators to recognize high-quality product and defects.

Summary

Quality Technicians will be responsible for safely/efficiently conducting quality checks throughout the manufacturing process of our Fiber Egg Cartons. Techs conduct audits and perform data entry of quality checks into our database, train production equipment operators on how to recognize high quality product vs. product/printing defects. Quality Techs help to ensure we are compliant with Food Safety requirements.

EDUCATION And/or EXPERIENCE

At least one year of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable. Experience training others & entering data into database strongly preferred. Experience with GMPs and/or HACCP will be a HUGE plus!
