Tekni-Plex, Inc. in Van Wert, OH is hiring Quality Control Technicians for a day shift from 4:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The new manufacturing plant produces molded pulp egg cartons, and technicians will perform quality checks and data entry to ensure product safety and compliance with GMP/HACCP standards.

Responsibilities include conducting audits, training operators on quality criteria, and helping maintain food safety documentation while supporting a safe, efficient production environment.

Qualifications

• One year of quality control experience in manufacturing.
• Experience training others and entering data into a database.
• Experience with GMPs and HACCP preferred.
• Ability to work rotating day shift and maintain accuracy.

Summary

Quality Technicians will be responsible for safely/efficiently conducting quality checks throughout the manufacturing process of our Fiber Egg Cartons. Techs conduct audits and perform data entry of quality checks into our database, train production equipment operators on how to recognize high quality product vs. product/printing defects. Quality Techs help to ensure we are compliant with Food Safety requirements.

Education and/or Experience

At least one year of Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment is desirable. Experience training others & entering data into database strongly preferred. Experience with GMPs and/or HACCP will be a HUGE plus!
