Ramsey County is seeking staff to perform custodial and food service duties in a shelter facility. You will assist residents and staff, support individuals experiencing homelessness, and handle related tasks in a shelter environment.

Candidates must be able to work weekends and overnight shifts (8pm-7am). The role requires occasional driving of county vehicles to transport residents and may involve various administrative duties as part of the shelter operations.

Formación

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. May have obtained these skills through completion of a High School Diploma or equivalency.

Responsabilidades

• Promote a diverse, culturally competent, and respectful workplace.
• Polite greeting and assistance to clients and visitors; answer phones and provide routine information or direct to the appropriate person.
• Record keeping consistent with established requirements; communicate information to staff.
• Enter client information into the Client Tracking System upon shelter entry.
• Provide light janitorial services: trash removal, cleaning and disinfecting rooms, bathrooms, and common areas; vacuuming and sweeping.
