Job summary

Nestlé USA is seeking a Set-Up Technician to keep production equipment running smoothly by assembling, disassembling, and maintaining machines for each job. You’ll support line setup, troubleshoot issues, and work with operators and maintenance teams to ensure safe, efficient production.

Your mechanical know‑how and attention to detail help us deliver popular foods with care and consistency. This role operates on the 3rd shift, Sunday through Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:30 AM, with a $3.00/hour shift

Qualifications

• Mandatory high school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of mechanical or machine operator experience.
• Mechanical/electrical trade background or technical school preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and move throughout shift.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, disassemble, clean, and maintain production equipment.
• Set up and operate manufacturing and packaging machines.
• Make adjustments and minor repairs to support productivity.
• Troubleshoot setup issues and minimize downtime.
• Monitor and optimize lines during production runs.
• Match labels with batch records and verify accuracy.
• Maintain inventory of tools and parts.
• Assist operators and maintenance technicians as needed.
• Create or update machine centerline procedures.
• Follow GMPs, SOPs, and company policies.
