Job summary

Lahey Hospital and Medical Center (LHMC) seeks a Security Supervisor for the night shift to lead security staff and coordinate shift plans across LHMC facilities. The role requires overseeing incident response, coordinating with nursing leadership, and ensuring safety protocols are followed across campuses and parking areas.

The supervisor will train personnel on Genetec and other security systems, manage on-call responses, and ensure timely incident reporting and communications with LHMC

Qualifications

• Direct supervision of security personnel on assigned shift.
• Coordination of shift plans and operational decisions.
• Response to security incidents and emergencies.
• Knowledge of security systems and badge/access control is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct shift change meetings and briefings.
• Monitor performance and provide coaching to security staff.
• Respond to on-call requests and fill vacancies as needed.
• Maintain Security Log and complete incident reports.
• Lead policy enforcement for parking, identification and restricted areas.
• Ensure fire safety and emergency procedures are followed.
