Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health in Burlington, MA is seeking a Charge Officer – Security for the Evening Shift. In support of supervisory staff, you will assist with the daily supervision of Security Officers and coordinate responses to emergencies.

You will work closely with Nursing Supervisors on patient safety and security, escalating issues as needed. Required: High School Diploma or equivalent and a current valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Must have a current valid driver's license.
• Prior security experience with leadership exposure preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead Responsibilities – assist with supervising general security staff.
• Allocate staff resources and support supervisor in performance matters.
• Coordinate and lead responses to emergency situations and codes.
• Coordinate with Nursing Supervisors on patient safety and security.
• Assist with training of new officers and refresher training.
