Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Security Screener in New Stanton, PA. You will protect clients across Tech/Media/Telecom environments, screen visitors and personnel, monitor access points, and maintain a welcoming, safe site.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.
• Loss Prevention experience is preferred.
• Alarm Panel Experience is preferred.
• Access Control/Badge Experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a high-volume technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with access-control procedures; verify credentials and direct authorized individuals to appropriate locations.
• Monitor entry points, screening equipment, and visitor activity; report suspicious activity, prohibited items, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
