Allied Universal in New Stanton, PA seeks a Security Officer Full Time Security Screener to safeguard clients across industries including Tech/Media/Telecom. You will screen visitors and personnel, monitor access points, and deliver professional customer service while maintaining a welcoming, secure site.

The role requires a high school diploma, 18+ (21+ for armed), background check, and the ability to pass a drug screen. Pay is $18.75 per hour with day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a high-volume technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Screen personnel, visitors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with access-control procedures; verify credentials and direct authorized individuals to appropriate locations.
• Monitor entry points, screening equipment, and visitor activity; report suspicious activity, prohibited items, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned screening areas, entrances, and surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized access.
