Job summary

Allied Universal in New Stanton, PA is seeking a Security Officer Badge Screening to protect clients across technology and media locations. You will manage access points, verify credentials, and report security concerns while delivering a professional, welcoming experience.

The role requires attention to detail, reliable communication, and the ability to respond calmly to incidents; a background check and drug screen are required, with CPR/First Aid preferred, and 18+ (21+ for armed) depending

Qualifications

• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Loss prevention experience preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology and media location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Screen individuals, packages, deliveries, and authorized property entering the location in accordance with access-control and screening procedures.
• Verify identification and access credentials, direct visitors to check-in processes, and maintain visitor and delivery records.
• Respond to incidents and security concerns in a calm, professional manner, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of screening areas, entry points, and perimeter to identify and report unusual activity.
