Job summary

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED, or 12 months of work experience required.
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or military preferred.
• Experience with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities or mental health issues preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors surveillance cameras and patrols buildings and grounds.
• Responds to fire alarms and conducts safety checks.
• Disseminates and coordinates emergency responses and notifies management and law enforcement as appropriate.
• Prepares timely documentation of emergencies and incidents.
• Trains and mentors new security officers as needed.
• Performs after-hours security duties and handles access control.
