Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Previous security, law enforcement or military experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write and speak intelligible English; strong reporting skills.
• Willingness to work varied hours, indoors and outdoors, in all weather.

Responsibilities

• Responds to security emergencies and oversees calls for assistance.
• Patrols and conducts surveillance of hospital properties and campuses.
• Enforces criminal ordinances and hospital policies; coordinates with law enforcement.
• Provides security escorts and controls access to facilities.
• Keeps written reports and logs; participates in safety and education efforts.
