Lake Charles Memorial Health System is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to protect patients, staff and visitors across campus. You will respond to emergencies, conduct patrols, and enforce hospital policies while coordinating with local law enforcement as required.

The role requires strong English communication, solid judgment, and the ability to handle high-stress situations with professionalism. Prior security or law enforcement experience is preferred.

Qualificações

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• IAHSS CHSO or equivalent certification valued.
• Strong reading, writing and spoken English abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Responds to security emergencies and alarms.
• Patrols and surveils facilities and properties.
• Detains or arrests offenders per policy with law enforcement liaison.
• Provides security escorts for patients, visitors and employees.
• Maintains security logs and writes incident reports.
• Supports safety education for staff and patients.
