Job summary

The Arizona Biltmore, a Pyramid Global Hospitality property in Phoenix, is seeking a Security Officer who prioritizes guest safety and exceptional service. You will join a team focused on professional, courteous interactions and proactive security measures across the resort.

The role requires attentiveness, detail orientation, and the ability to respond calmly to emergencies. Flexible scheduling including nights, weekends, and holidays is expected to meet guest needs at a world-class property.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in hospitality or purchasing is preferred.
• At least 1 year of customer service experience preferred.
• 2 years of security or police (military or civilian) experience, preferably in a hotel environment.
• 2 years of college in a safety, security or hospitality related discipline preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• First Aid/CPR certification preferred (instructor rating desired).
• Strong written and oral communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the safety policies and procedures of the property and Benchmark with professionalism and teamwork.
• Follow safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment for guests and associates.
• Perform preventive patrols and maintain high visibility to reduce crime opportunities.
• Promote a peaceful, non-threatening environment for guests and employees.
• Assist individuals in danger or in need of medical attention as required.
• Respond to emergencies as prescribed in property procedures.
• Ensure security of guest and employee information in reports and operations.
• Complete all Daily Activity and Incident Reports.
• Assist in developing and presenting security-related programs.
• Review and edit written records produced by Security Officers.
• Be flexible to aid in other job classifications as determined by supervisor.
