Allied Universal in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Security Officer Alarm Response Driver to serve clients across manufacturing and industrial sites. You will conduct patrols, monitor alarms, deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while adhering to site policies.

This full-time role requires a valid driver’s license and emphasizes integrity, teamwork, and a people-first mindset. You will work night shifts on a rotating schedule and support security operations at a dynamic

Qualifications

Valid driver’s license required.
Alarm panel experience preferred.
Customer service experience preferred.
Access control and badge experience preferred.
Must be able to lift 20 pounds or more.
Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
Background investigation required.
Drug screen required.
Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by following security procedures and site policies.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and reporting requirements.
Conduct regular patrols of facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to identify unusual conditions.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and document visitor activity.
Complete detailed activity reports and shift communications with professionalism.
