Job summary

Allied Universal in Melville, NY is seeking a Security Officer for corporate office access control. You will provide customer service to employees and visitors, monitor entry points, and conduct patrols of production areas and perimeters. You will document incidents and logs and respond to alarms with professionalism.

This full-time night-shift role pays $17.58 per hour and includes benefits under Allied Universal's people-first security program.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Background check and drug screen will be conducted.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to monitor and control access points and complete incident reports.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery personnel by following site procedures and access-control protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, warehouses, offices, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeters.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain logs and visitor records.
• Respond calmly and professionally to incidents, alarms, and emergencies and escalate as needed.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and patrol records for supervisors.
