Qualifications

• Minimum one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Background check required under federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, families, and agency partners per site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies calmly and notify appropriate contacts.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of government offices, public areas, entrances, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization; maintain logs and incident reports.
• Support a respectful, professional environment while following confidentiality protocols.
