Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Wichita Downtown is seeking an Overnight Security Guard to safeguard guests and staff during the overnight shift. You will patrol the property, monitor cameras, control access, and respond to incidents with a calm, professional demeanor.

This role requires strong communication and de-escalation skills, a valid security license or willingness to obtain, and the ability to work 10:00 PM–6:00 AM, including weekends and holidays.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, conflict resolution, and de-escalation skills.
• Current security license or registration as required by local/state regulations (or willingness to obtain).
• Ability to work overnight shifts (10:00 PM–6:00 AM) including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Patrols and monitors property, guest halls, parking areas, entryways, and staff zones.
• Responds promptly to security incidents, disturbances, and safety concerns with professionalism.
• Controls access points and assists guests with late-night entries following verification procedures.
• Provides friendly, hospitable service while maintaining a secure environment for guests and staff.
• Acts as primary point of contact for emergencies and liaises with local responders as needed.
• Completes daily overnight security logs and incident reports accurately before shift end.
• Collaborates with Front Desk to support overnight hotel operations and safety inspections.
