Job summary

Flying Horse Resort & Club in Colorado Springs is seeking an Overnight Security professional to provide a highly visible security presence, conduct thorough rounds, and manage risk across the resort and grounds.

The role requires 1–3 years of experience in security or related fields, an active security license, and CPR/AED/First Aid certification. You will coordinate with engineering and management and support guest safety and privacy.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in security, hospitality, law enforcement, facilities, or related field preferred.
• State security license or guard card as required, or ability to obtain within a legally permitted timeframe.
• Current CPR/AED/First Aid certification, or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
• Valid driver's license where driving is required for job duties; must be eligible to safely operate club vehicles or golf carts.
• Ability to work independently overnight with sound judgment, discretion, and integrity.
• Computer proficiency, including CCTV monitoring, access control systems, and electronic incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Provides a highly visible overnight security presence and conducts comprehensive rounds of all facilities and grounds.
• Performs risk management and safety checks, monitors access control and security cameras, and responds to incidents and alarms with professionalism.
• Patrols and inspects clubhouse, lodging, banquet spaces, kitchens, bars, spa, pools, tennis facilities, maintenance buildings, and more.
• Verifies doors, windows, gates, and garages are secured; documents findings and corrects unsecured points when authorized.
• Monitors fire alarm systems, assists with evacuations and re-entry, and coordinates with local fire authorities as required.
• Ensures egress routes are clear and maintains safety equipment such as extinguishers, AEDs, and oxygen equipment.
