Job summary

Allied Universal, Reynoldsburg, OH, is seeking a Security Officer Driver for Vehicle Entry Screening at a retail location. A valid driver’s license and a high school diploma or equivalent are required, with background checks and drug screening per policy.

You will manage entry points, verify credentials, patrol areas, and respond to incidents while delivering customer service in a welcoming environment. Nights/weekend shifts and driving duties are essential aspects of this role.

• Demonstrate alertness and situational awareness to deter security incidents.
• Communicate access-related concerns to site leadership and management.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a retail location.
• Monitor and manage access points for associates, vendors, deliveries, and authorized visitors in accordance with site requirements.
• Verify credentials, maintain visitor and delivery records, and communicate access-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entryways, sales-floor areas, stockrooms, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
