Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Dispatch Communications in Cumberland, RI to coordinate communications, monitor activity, document incidents, and dispatch appropriate support to maintain a secure environment. You will serve staff, visitors, and responders with strong customer service.

This full-time role requires 2+ years of security experience, a high school diploma, and may require CPR certification, background checks, and a drug screen. Pay is $22.85 per hour with night shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 (unarmed) / 21+ (armed) years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and vendors per site policies.
• Monitor communications, receive requests for assistance, and dispatch personnel.
• Respond to incidents and alarms calmly while coordinating with emergency responders.
• Maintain dispatch logs, incident reports, and activity records.
• Conduct regular patrols and adapt to location-specific conditions.
