Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Receive, prioritize, document, and dispatch routine and urgent calls for service to appropriate security-related personnel and facility contacts.
• Monitor communication systems, alarms, and access-related activity, and relay timely information during incidents, medical emergencies, and other critical situations.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident records, and shift communications in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal requirements.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with emergency responders and site leadership as appropriate.
