Job summary

Allied Universal in Richardson, TX is seeking a Security Guard Full Time Alarm Signal Dispatcher to protect client sites across industries. You will coordinate communications, monitor alarm activity and access control, and support rapid responses to security incidents at a commercial real estate location.

You will maintain dispatch logs, assist visitors and staff, and provide outstanding customer service while upholding site procedures.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred.
• Access control/badge experience preferred.
• Alarm panel experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background check and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Receive, prioritize, document, and dispatch security-related calls for service, alarms, maintenance concerns, and other incidents to appropriate personnel.
• Monitor communication systems, cameras, access-control alerts, and building-related systems, escalating unusual activity and critical situations according to site procedures.
• Maintain accurate dispatch logs, incident reports, shift activity records, and related documentation in a timely manner.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner while coordinating with on-site personnel and emergency responders as needed.
