Job summary

Lakeside Foods Inc. in Owatonna, MN is seeking a Sanitation Team Member to help maintain clean, safe production areas. You’ll perform pre-ops sanitation forms, assist in cleaning, and support equipment start-ups after cleanup, all while following MSDS and label requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent).
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
• Bilingual preferred, not required. (Spanish)
• Through individual and team efforts, work toward continuous improvement of job, work area, department, Lakeside as a whole.
• Willingness to participate in TAL by living Lakeside's Standards of Conduct and being an active team member.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the safety procedures are observed.
• Incorporate good manufacturing practices established at the location.
• Performs and fills out the pre-ops sanitation forms each day.
• Must be able to fill in or assist in cleaning when needed.
• Assist in filling and starting of equipment after cleaning is performed.
• Ability to use a pressure hose for sanitation functions.
• Ability to work as a team and do various tasks as assigned by the manager.
• Ensure the area is in compliance with established cleanliness and appearance standards.
• Must have knowledge of MSDS Sheets and labels for small containers.
• Performs other duties as assigned by manager.
• Adhere to Lakeside Foods policies and procedures.
• Notify manager of unsafe or potentially hazardous conditions.
