Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, and volume
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with identified variables with limited standardization.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct work of all production shift employees to ensure safe and efficient operations.
• Lead production personnel by example in personal and food safety; correct unsafe acts with HR.
• Work with sanitation supervisor to ensure equipment and areas are clean for next shift.
• Train employees.
• Supervise and assure compliance with HACCP programs and monitor food safety.
• Maintain open communication with management and employees.
• Operate production areas in line with GMPs and company procedures.
• Ensure records for production/sanitation are accurate and maintained.
