Job summary

Lakeside Foods is seeking a dedicated Sanitation Supervisor for our Weston facility in Oregon. This hands-on leadership role ensures cleanliness, compliance, and continual improvement across all sanitation activities in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.

You'll supervise sanitation operations, train and develop the team, manage cleaning supplies, and coordinate with production to optimize sanitation schedules while maintaining GMPs and food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of sanitation procedures, chemical handling, and safety protocols.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with audit requirements, MSDS documentation, and food safety programs.
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to interpret policies and enforce standards consistently.

Responsibilities

• Supervise sanitation operations across all areas of the plant during assigned shifts
• Train, schedule, and develop sanitation team members to ensure efficient and compliant operations
• Maintain cleaning supply inventory and ensure proper chemical usage
• Coordinate with production to optimize sanitation schedules and resources
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements
• Support accident prevention and safety initiatives
• Maintain accurate records and reports related to sanitation activities
• Collaborate with other supervisors to ensure smooth operations across departments
