Job summary

The Campbell's Company is seeking a Sanitation Coordinator in Bloomfield, CT to uphold food safety, sanitation, and quality across our facility. This hands-on leadership role directs daily sanitation tasks and supports production operations.

You will train and coach staff, maintain SSOPs, monitor KPIs, and ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP, GMP, and environmental monitoring programs while collaborating with QA, maintenance and production teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of experience in sanitation, manufacturing, food production, or related environment.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with experience directing, coaching, or training employees.
• Knowledge of sanitation processes, cleaning chemicals, and food safety requirements.
• Ability to follow SSOPs, GMPs, HACCP principles, and safety procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Basic computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays, and flexible schedules as business needs require.

Responsibilities

• Lead sanitation team members and direct daily sanitation activities.
• Coordinate sanitation to meet production schedules and maintenance requirements.
• Conduct shift meetings and communicate priorities, safety expectations, and department updates.
• Train, coach, and develop employees while supporting performance management activities.
• Assist with staffing, attendance tracking, overtime management, vacation scheduling, and workforce planning.
• Develop, update, and maintain SSOPs and support sanitation program validation efforts.
• Monitor sanitation KPIs and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Perform sanitation audits and inspections to verify compliance with policies and standards.
• Support and ensure compliance with SQF, HACCP, GMP, and other safety programs.
