Job summary

Banner Health's Respiratory Therapy team in Tucson seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist for the night shift. You will deliver respiratory care, manage vents, perform diagnostics, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in a high-acuity setting.

Requirements include an Associate degree or technical training, NBRC RRT, AZ license, and at least one year of acute care experience. Night differential applies along with weekend differential.

Qualifications

• Associate or technical degree in respiratory care.
• NBRC RRT certification required.
• Active state license to practice respiratory care.
• Minimum of one year acute care hospital experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic modalities of respiratory care per physician orders.
• Manage and adjust mechanical ventilators with teams.
• Operate and maintain respiratory care equipment per procedures.
• Perform pulmonary and cardiology diagnostic testing as prescribed.
• Assess patients and document therapy; adjust plans as needed.
• Collaborate with staff to implement care plans.
• May supervise department staff.
• Provide care across settings and communicate with physicians.
