Job summary

Mercy Washington in Washington, MO is seeking a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) to perform overnight sleep studies, CPAP/BiPAP titration, and MSLT under physician direction. You’ll calibrate equipment to AASM standards and monitor patients through the night.

You will score studies, educate patients on PAP therapy, and document care in the EMR, enjoying night-shift autonomy within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of an accredited Polysomnography program.
• Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) is required.
• BLS certification within 3 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform overnight sleep studies, including polysomnography, CPAP/BiPAP titration, split-night protocols, and MSLT.
• Prepare and calibrate equipment in accordance with AASM standards.
• Monitor patients throughout the night and respond to clinical events with confidence.
• Accurately score studies and produce detailed reports.
• Educate patients on sleep disorders and PAP therapy.
• Maintain equipment and follow infection control protocols.
• Document all care in the EMR.
