Job summary
National DCP, LLC (NDCP) is seeking a Routing Analyst in Lockport, IL to optimize outbound logistics, drive cost-effective transport, and support multiple regions. The role involves analyzing routing plans, generating management reports, and coordinating with cross-functional teams to improve overall efficiency.
The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in logistics, strong Excel, and familiarity with WMS/TMS systems.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of related experience in transportation and logistics.
- General knowledge of WMS/TMS software.
- Experience with Manhattan & Appian is preferred.
- Proficient Excel (Intermediate-Advanced) and strong communication.
- Flexible hours including weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily tactical routing plans for all regions and distribution points.
- Resolve external and internal customer routing issues.
- Develop, implement, and monitor management reports that measure routing cost-effectiveness.
- Analyze and measure financial impact of outbound logistics changes.
- Analyze and implement improvements to outbound logistics systems and processes.
- Adjust routing with seasonal demand variations across regions to maximize efficiency.
- Collaborate with other departments to integrate outbound logistics with business systems.
