Job summary

DAP is seeking a Transportation Analyst to support end-to-end supply chain operations in Baltimore. The role collaborates with manufacturing, carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure timely, accurate order delivery and optimal material flow for production.

The analyst will create reporting solutions to provide clear insights and identify efficiency gains, while analyzing current processes to implement policy-driven improvements and cost reductions.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of logistics, transportation, or supply chain experience.
• Experience with TMS (Mercury Gate preferred).
• Proficiency in MS Office; SAP S4 knowledge preferred.
• Experience creating dashboards in Power BI or Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Maintain routing and transit times for vendors and coordinate with purchasing to set accurate MRP lead times.
• Plan and coordinate inbound shipments of raw materials and packaging for production; include occasional international shipments.
• Onboard and train vendors to the Vendor Portal in TMS.
• Lead internal and external projects to streamline inbound freight processes.
• Call and schedule pickups as required.
• Collaborate with Customer Service to support returns processing.
• Ensure product data accuracy (dimensions, weight, freight classifications) with master data.
• Coordinate HS codes, DOT, IMDG, and IATA info for hazmat with Regulatory.
• Develop carrier scorecards and track on‑time pickup/delivery and other KPIs.
• Support freight audit, payment processes, and claims management.
• Share project progress and escalate issues affecting cost or service.
