Job summary

Gunderson Uniform & Linen seeks a Route Manager to lead our night operation and a team of Route Representatives on night routes running Sunday through Thursday. No CDL required, but strong leadership and field operations experience are essential to keep routes efficient and service levels high.

You will coach and develop drivers, conduct safety briefings, and optimize routing while building lasting customer relationships.

Qualifications

Experience in route operations, logistics, or field service management.
Strong customer-focused leadership and clear communication.
Solid problem-solving instincts.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Lead with safety — run briefings, training, and enforce policy daily.
Manage and develop a team of Non-CDL drivers: onboarding, coaching, scheduling, performance.
Ride along regularly to evaluate performance and remove barriers to success.
Step in hands-on when needed to keep routes running and service smooth.
Keep routing/schedules current and improve route sequencing for efficiency.
Oversee truck maintenance and delivery/pick-up logistics.
Build strong customer relationships — drive retention and renewals, spot growth.
Follow up on overdue accounts and resolve service issues.
