Job summary

HonorHealth in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a skilled registered nurse for night shifts in the Telemetry Unit (4P1-Acute Care Medicine). The RN will provide comprehensive patient care, perform assessments, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support stroke care and complex cardiopulmonary patients.

Requirements include an associates in nursing or diploma, with BSN within 60 months or 5+ years RN experience; BSN preferred. Sign-on bonus up to $10K.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
• Must complete a BSN within 60 months of hire or have 5+ years RN experience.
• Bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.

Responsibilities

• The RN's practice is guided by the ANA Standard for Professional Nurse and Code of Ethics.
• The RN records patients' medical history and symptoms, helps perform diagnostic tests and analyze results.
• Operate medical equipment, administer treatment and medications, and assist with follow-up and rehabilitation.
• Develop or contribute to a care plan, including IV access, medication administration, and therapies.
• Provide patient and family education on illness management, home care needs, and self-care.
• Precept new hires and students; promote quality care and a healthy work environment.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.

Education

Associates degree or Diploma in Nursing
