Job summary
AdventHealth in Florida seeks an RN for PCU Observation on a StaffFlex contract, working 7p–7a with a $49.00/hr rate and 13 weeks. Requires NIH certification preferred, BLS/ACLS prior to hire, and at least 2 years of acute care experience. Duties include assessment, medication administration, and care coordination with a patient-centered approach.
Open availability with weekend rotation; no on-call required. Registered Nurse license and English fluency are essential.
Qualifications
- RN license to practice in Florida is required.
- Minimum 2+ years of nursing experience in an acute hospital setting.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required prior to hire.
- NIH certification is preferred.
- Strong critical thinking and observation skills are essential.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care for PCU patients on night shift.
- Administer medications and ensure patient safety per protocol.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team for care planning.
- Educate patients and families on conditions and treatments.
- Document thoroughly and ensure accurate handoffs.
