Job summary

Henry Ford Providence Southfield Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg Oncology unit. You will provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care, using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.

The role requires collaboration with the healthcare team, clear communication, and ongoing improvement of patient outcomes. BSN preferred; Michigan licensure and BCLS certification are required.

Qualifications

• BSN preferred. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing (see licensure section).
• Health care provider certification (BCLS).

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering quality, compassionate patient care.
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients and families.
• Effectively communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
• Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.
