Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an experienced RN for the Neuro Care Unit Telemetry in Deer Valley, Phoenix, AZ. The role focuses on bedside nursing, medication administration, IV management, and family education under ANA standards.

Responsibilities include developing individualized care plans, collaborating with physicians and the multidisciplinary team, and precepting new hires. Aimed at delivering high-quality stroke care with protocol adherence.

Qualifications

• Associates degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
• BSN preferred; must complete a BSN within 60 months of hire.
• RN license required by state of Arizona.

Responsibilities

• The RN's practice follows ANA standards and codes of ethics.
• Completes nursing assessments, maintains patient records, administers treatments and medications.
• Develops and updates care plans with family involvement and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Precepts new staff and students; supports clinical knowledge advancement.
• Ensures stroke care knowledge, protocols, NIHSS and stroke alert procedures are understood.

Education
