Job summary

JPS Health Network in Fort Worth, TX, seeks a Registered Nurse for the Med Surg - Respiratory/Pulmonary Unit night shift. The RN assesses, plans, directs, implements, and assists to provide quality patient care for assigned patients.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or higher in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Current Texas RN license or reciprocity within 90 days.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required within 90 days where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Plans, assesses, directs, implements and provides quality patient care for assigned patients.
• Monitors patient condition, records vital signs and intervenes as needed.
• Collects data and participates in discharge planning with patient education.
• Documents accurately in medical records and electronic systems per policy.
• Collaborates with multi-disciplinary team and ensures EMTALA compliance.
• Performs additional department-specific duties as required.
