Job summary
Ascension Saint Thomas Rutherford in Murfreesboro, TN seeks an experienced RN for the Emergency Department. You will provide direct nursing care, follow clinical protocols, and coordinate multidisciplinary care to ensure safe, high‑quality treatment tailored to each patient.
You will lead care coordination across teams, manage discharge planning, and support a smooth patient journey from admission to recovery, in a collaborative, patient‑centered environment.
Qualifications
- ALCS within 6 months of hire date or transfer date.
- BLS within 1 month of hire date or transfer date.
- PALS within 6 months of hire date or transfer date.
- Licensed RN credentialed from Tennessee Board of Nursing or compact-state recognition required.
Responsibilities
- Deliver direct nursing care following clinical protocols to ensure safe, high-quality treatment.
- Lead coordination of care across multiple medical disciplines as central contact for patients.
- Manage full patient journey by implementing care plans and coordinating discharge needs.
