Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking a passionate RN Clinical Nurse to join our Georgia team on the Night shift. You will work with an interdisciplinary care team to deliver individualized, high-quality patient care in a governance-supported environment.

You will apply evidence-based nursing practice, partner with patients and families, and participate in performance improvement and shared governance to advance patient outcomes. Licensure and required certifications are required upon hire.

Qualifications

• Associates Nursing or Diploma Nursing or Bachelors Nursing - Preferred.
• All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
• Minimum 5 years RN direct patient care experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs the Nursing Process (assess, diagnose, outcomes, plan, implement, evaluate) using evidence-based practice.
• Provides relationship-based patient-centered care reflecting age, gender and disease considerations.
• Partners with the patient and significant others using bedside shift report, interdisciplinary rounds and planned teaching.
• Coordinates delivery and documentation of safe quality patient care with interdisciplinary teams.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and supports shared governance.
• Proactively plans for patient care across the care continuum and supports protocols with care managers.
