Job summary

Wellstar Health System is seeking an experienced RN Clinical Nurse for night shift in Georgia. You will be part of an interdisciplinary team delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. Required: RN license (Single State or Compact), BLS, 5+ years of direct patient care, and strong communication skills. Associates or diploma in nursing; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or diploma in nursing; BSN preferred.
• All required certifications on hire unless stated otherwise.
• RN license (Single State or Compact)
• BLS certification required at hire or soon after.
• Minimum 5 years RN experience with direct patient care.
• English language proficiency (read/write/speak).
• Strong communication, teamwork and time-management skills.
• Proficient use of technology to support clinical care and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform the Nursing Process (assess, diagnose, outcomes, plan, implement, evaluate) using evidence-based practice.
• Provide patient-centered care reflecting age, gender, disease, and culture.
• Partner with patients and families using bedside shift reports and rounds.
• Adhere to current clinical practice standards and Wellstar policies.
• Coordinate safe, quality care and ensure timely documentation.
• Promote teamwork, fiscal responsibility, and continuous improvement.
• Mentor and precept other staff to maintain a qualified workforce.
