Job summary

Medical City Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift from 7:00pm to 7:00am, with rotating weekends. You will deliver high-quality, patient-centered care, collaborate with the care team, and advocate for patients and families in line with our standards and values.

As an RN, you will perform comprehensive nursing assessments, develop care plans, provide education and emotional support, and ensure quality outcomes across the patient population.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
• Associates degree acceptable to start; BSN required within 24 months of hire.
• Current RN license in TX or compact license.
• Current BLS issued by the American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Minimum 1 year of acute care hospital experience in the last 3 years.
• Ortho experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team.
• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop care plans.
• Deliver education and emotional support to patients and families.
• Care for multiple patients directly or via delegation.
• Evaluate patient responses and outcomes to interventions.
• Apply critical thinking to nursing data and current literature.
