Job summary

AllianceHealth Durant is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for Nights in our Labor & Delivery department. You will provide patient-centered care and collaborate with physicians and teammates to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced obstetric setting.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting required

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and deliver patient-centered care in accordance with nursing process and policies.
• Assess patients, document findings, and report changes to the care team.
• Administer medications, monitor for side effects, and document administration.
• Assist physicians during procedures within documented competencies.
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions.
• Maintain infection control and safety standards.
• Engage in performance improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes.
• Provide obstetric-specific care for labor, delivery, and post-partum patients.
