Job summary

vTech Solution is seeking an Registered Nurse for the Labor and Delivery unit in Wisconsin. The role focuses on managing labor progress, fetal monitoring, and neonatal assessments, with opportunities to cross-train for Med Surg and EICU as patient needs dictate.

Responsibilities include emergency management, medication administration accuracy, and patient education, all within our collaborative care environment and within scope of practice and certification requirements.

Qualifications

• Wisconsin RN license required.
• Two-year nursing degree required; four-year degree preferred.
• BLS, NRP, STABLE, and fetal monitoring certifications required within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Monitor labor progression, fetal status, and administer medications.
• Manage obstetric emergencies and neonatal resuscitation within scope of practice.
• Perform neonatal assessments and coordinate with Med Surg/EICU as needed.
• Promote patient education and collaborate with interdisciplinary team.
• Cross-train to support Med Surg/EICU as required.
