Job summary

RWJBarnabas Health at Monmouth Medical Center is seeking a PD RN for Labor & Delivery on the night shift, per diem. You will assess patients, administer medications, and document in EPIC while collaborating with physicians to ensure safe, effective care.

Active NJ RN license is required; BSN preferred with prior L&D or acute care experience. Per diem 7p–7:30a shifts offer flexibility and ongoing growth within a safety‑driven, team‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Nurse license in good standing.
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Prior L&D or acute care experience encouraged.
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and recognize clinical changes.
• Provide medications, treatments, and hands-on care per evidence-based practice.
• Collaborate with physicians and providers to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families for informed decision-making.
• Document accurately in the electronic medical record.
• Contribute during interdisciplinary rounds and ensure smooth transitions.
