UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Hinsdale is hiring Registered Nurses for the Night shift to provide specialized newborn and obstetric care. You will assist with deliveries, monitor patients, and support families through the postpartum period.

The role requires an Associate's Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), RN licensure, and certifications (BLS, NRP). A sign-on bonus up to $25,000 is offered along with comprehensive benefits and opportunities for career development.

Formación

• RN license required or in process.
• NRP certification required, BLS CPR certification.
• Experience with neonatal care and obstetric patients preferred.
• Strong assessment and documentation skills required.
• Willingness to participate in Clinical Ladder program if eligible.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with newborn care at deliveries and provide immediate newborn care.
• Maintain neonatal resuscitation skills for emergencies.
• Assess obstetrical patients to identify risks and health issues.
• Identify and report maternal and newborn problems to the physician promptly.
• Assist with transfer of newborns to other facilities when indicated.
• Accurately identify and band newborns, mothers, and significant others to prevent mix-ups.
• Document all care activities in medical records with band IDs.
• Provide intraoperative and postoperative care during obstetrical procedures.
