Job summary

Medical City Arlington is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor and Delivery to provide expert nursing care in the Fetal Diagnostic Center and Labor and Delivery. The role requires assessing patients, following Nursing Process, and supervising staff or students as needed.

The position involves managing patient flow, educating families on medications and care, and administering medications per physician orders.

Qualifications

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse from Texas Board of Nurse Examiners. Compact license accepted.
• Current BLS- Healthcare Provider certification issued by AHA or American Red Cross is required.
• Must have recent Labor and Delivery acute care experience of at least 1 year.
• 1+ Year's experience of L and D Required.
• 2+ Year's L and D experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage efficient flow of patients in Labor and Delivery and fetal center.
• Instruct patients and families regarding medications and treatment instructions.
• Administer medications in accordance with physician orders.
